I gotta give some props!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be a tad lengthy, so please bear with me.

I sent Wes, at Classic Heartbeat, an e-mail to check on some parts & prices for both my '69 & my '72

Due to a problem that was neither his fault, not mine, it took a bit for him to get back to me.

When I called him to give him a credit card number so he could ship my order, he told me a couple of things may not be in stock.
I told him that was no problem. Just ship the out of stock items when he got them.

The stuff that he had came in yesterday morning.
The stuff he didn't have came in yesterday afternoon.

Wes had another vendor drop ship stuff at my house rather than have it go to him, and then reship it to me.

You can't ask for more better service than that!

He will be getting more of my business in the future.

If this is in the wrong place, would a moderator please move it for me?
Thanks, El Jay

Wow, I would buy from him but Tri-Pro is cheaper from what I can see. But Classic does have some hared to find parts.

Sometimes its not about getting the absolute lowest price. A good price and good service is what Ive looked for. Ive purchased from Wes and have been very happy. Ive also purchased from other board vendors knowing that the price wasnt rock bottom, but also knowing Ill be well taken care of service wise.

Btw I wasnt saying Tri-Pro wasnt a good company to deal with...This was more of general statement regarding buyers and sellers.

FYI: I also buy from Wes. We're extremely limited on product offering and, frankly, it doesn't make sense to pay freight to two vendors when you can get more of what you need from Classic Heartbeat.

Re: I gotta give some props!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the kind words. In my opinion the customer is top priority!! There are plenty of times when things get bogged down and in such cases we try to find other resources to fill our client's needs. Even if it means using our compition to do so.
The reason (I think anyway) that we have such hard parts to find is because we spend a lot of time listoning to what you guys need and do our best to develope the parts. I give Tri-Pro props for that also, because I know through the conversations I have had with him that he is at the forfront of product development. WES
