Gas Gauge Problems Help!!!!!!!!!!
Whe the ignition key is in the on postion the gas gauge needle go's to about 3:00 position.Key in off position it falls back to around the full position.I checked everything I could think of,Have resisted power to the sender in the tank and good ground.I changed the gauge and then changed then the whole panel!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes,It was a doner cab that had duel tanks,but I am only going to run one.I forgot that it was a duel tank cab!!!!!!! What to doooooooooooo????????????

Change the fuel level sender and change all the wiring system! you installed a new fuel gauge????

I eliminated the cross over switch and the 2nd tank sending unit wire and just have a single wire comming out of the harnes at the fire wall,But the switch wiring is still under the dash.I'n thinking that I will need some kind of jumper wire or I will have to put the switch back in to complete the circut!

The fuel switch under/on the dash only triggers the fuel valve for a dual tank setup. Aside from switching the fuel delivery from one tank to the other, it also switches the signal wire from the sending units into the single wire (pink?) going to your harness on the firewall. All you may need to is to use a jumper wire between the signal wire (pink?) terminal of the fuel valve connector and the terminal of the wiring (pink/black? or pink/white?) coming from the sending unit. The pic below shows a dual tank setup:
