CPP C-Notch

I just ordered a c-notch for my '64 from CPP. It was $85 plus $17 s&h. I thought this was a great price and wanted to share it with any of y'all that might be interested. This is their "Summer Sale" price. I had to call them on the phone to get it for this price as the website price is $129.

They also have the power steering kit on sale for, I think, $75. Anyway, if anyone is interested, go to their website and click on the Summer Sale pic at the top of the page.

Mods: I have no affiliation with CPP, just wanted to post this to help out other members.

Here's the link. Just click on the banner close to the top of the page that says Summer Sale and it will take you to the sale items.

I'm not sure if they have one for the square body or not. The c-notch that I ordered fits 63-72. There might be something on there that would help you out though.

Re: CPP C-Notch

A plasma cutter would be best but in my case I will probably use a cutting blade on a 4" grinder. Drill holes where the cuts will meet to keep from having possible stress cracks later(does that make sense?). I guess a sawzall would work okay too.

Well . .... A sawzall w/a fresh blade will. Those 'slightly used' blades are a different story.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: CPP C-Notch

I found some "Fire & Rescue" blades at the local hardware store- they go through anything like butter.

Uuuummmmm... 800 miles with no rear suspension might be a little hard to accomplish.
