Re: Parts for 1988 Burb *
89blaz,
$200 is for all 4 doors. Includes glass, electric windows & locks, mirrors and handles. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. I've got them buried in the barn. They are seriously rust free, as is with everything on this burb. I love working on rust free parts. I'll get detailed pics of damage. |

Re: Parts for 1988 Burb *
88 Blaz,
Here's three pics. 4 more to follow-total of seven. The only damage is a small hole (bullet?) about 1/4" dia. It's not a rust hole. As you can see even the corners aren't rusted. One front door has a small dent-high build surfacer will level. |

Re: Parts for 1988 Burb *
I need a great set of mirrors and it looks like those are in great shape...I also need the front headliner metal trim piece on the windshield and the front a pillar post plastic trim pieces...also, does anyone know if the door sill plates are the same for a truck as they are for a burb...if so I need those also...and one more thing, if it has good horns on the front behind the grill I need those too...thanks...

Re: Parts for 1988 Burb *
Rick, The doors are sold.
Chuck, I've got a set of good mirrors and four horns. I'll need to check and make sure they work. Will $40 plus travel work for you? I'll get back with you on the horns tomorrow. What color of trim do you need? Thanks,Tom |

Re: Parts for 1988 Burb *
if the mirrors are in good condition meaning no dents and mirrors intact and not cracked or chipped, then yeah $40 plus the trip sounds good to me...also, the trim doesn't matter what color, because I'm going to be covering it in vinyl anyways, but blue would be the color I'm covering them...I need all the headliner trim for a truck and I think the ones that I mentioned are the only ones that interchange with a burb, but if you've got some from a truck laying around I'll take all the trim...thanks again...

Re: Parts for 1988 Burb *
Chuck,
Got the horns, (high and low) both work. Still looking for the pass side mirror-I've got it around here somewhere. Both are in great shape. As far as the trim, I have it, but the shipping cost is going to be high due to the length. These are available in junk yards. Paid less than $30 for all the trim in a burb. If you don't have a yard around that has them, let me know and I'll get a estimate on the shipping. I'll let you know the status of the mirror. Thanks, Tom |
