Re: just for laughs
Hope you didn't have your seat Armor-alled up. Would have made driving that a bit more interesting, even with seat belts on LOL Looks like fun!

Re: just for laughs
man i've done that, and i blew a motor. that and too many burnouts with a bad oil pump that night. none the less looks fun, gotta love setting off car alarms. i used to park next to people that had alarms so i could set em off when i started my truck up

Re: just for laughs
FYI sway bars from 73-87 truck will bolt onto our trucks. The catch is you need the frame stands that are riveted to the donor frame, so you need a torch, grinder or other method to remove the stand rivets. with all of the donor trucks in the wrecking yard, there is not much reason to not have a sway bar on our trucks... the handling improvement is like night and day!

Re: just for laughs
I just installed a swaybar on a 71 that I'm working on. If I'd tried that with the truck back when I drove it everyday, the rusted cab mounts would probably let go and the seat belts just held me in while cab and I went one way and everything else the other way.

Re: just for laughs
Ha! That would probably happen to me if I threw a sway bar on my truck right now!
