new project 71 GMC 4x4
looks like i am trading my dirt bike for a 70 gmc 4x4 tomorrow. going to be a total 4x4 rig. iam going to built it to be a prerunner all around dirt pounding machine.

Ill post pics when i get it home. First will be to get a short bed frame, mount the cab,set the 396 in it and build a bumper to bumper cage.

well. pretty much just doing little things to the truck. mainly to the cab. glass etc.. trying to seal it up before winter hits. getting a blazer frame and going to do something different

ordered a advanced adapter kit for a turbo 400 to 205 transfercase today. picked up a corvette th400 the other day also.

got the heater almost done. had to cut the firewall abit for the different heater to be installed. (a/c cab) and made a little block off plate to cover the holes.

Went to the junk yard and got some 52"and 56" leaf springs for the truck. Got to get he frame in the garage soon before the snow comes.

Started to rebuild the steering colum. Dam thing full of Black widow nests. Wish I had a camera. Looked like one big cotton ball on the inside!! And shorted the frame and drilled,grinded, air hammered some rivets out of the frame. just trying to stay busy.

moved the truck to get it in the garage. 67/68 front clip almost done.
