Re: exhaust options

personally 40s do sound great... but i favor some good headers your choice for power to some 40s/24-30inch glass packs to turn downs under the bed makes a really great rumble with no visible exhaust to locate the low tones.

no matter what its gonna sound good. IMO..
from the sounds of a really raspy 98 camaro to a the grumble of a 5.0 92 mustang. COMPLETELY different sounds and i soak them up,

Re: exhaust options

I had / installed Flows for years, sound good, but I prefer other
options out there. Specs on the engine means alot, Headers do
make a difference, and a X or H pipe can alter the sound also.

Re: exhaust options

I have a 71 with a 402 bb, I have the Hooker Comp Headers on it with 3 inch exhaust. I will go with the Flow Master 40's, everyone I talked with stated that would be the best for my set up. What engine do you have?
