I am still collecting a little research on my truck be fore I get really into. One question I have is about the existing rearend. I have a 12 bolt, but this is not posi. I looked on line and should be able to get a posi spool for about $300. Can I use my existing gears and should this be able to handle about 420 hp? I plan to use the existing axels and leave the drums on, just change out the spool. and if I go this route, how hard would it be?
