Looking for a 7 inch or so Touch Screen Stereo
Looking for one of those big ones that is a touch screen. Don't know much about them, don't want to spend too much. I know that all of them are pretty expensive, just wanted to know what's out there.
Kind of like this one, but I won't be using any of that GPS stuff.

Re: Looking for a 7 inch or so Touch Screen Stereo
The Pioneer F series is fairly cheap, but why have a touch screen? Why have a screen at all if you don't want Nav?

With the exception of the back-up cam, everything else on that list is actually illegal to use while the vehicle is in gear.
If a shop bypasses the safety features that are built into these units, it's an instant $50k fine.

Perfect for what you want.
I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't tell you to NOT BYPASS THE SAFETY DEVICES. That being said, have fun. Post pics of the install when its done.

Re: Looking for a 7 inch or so Touch Screen Stereo
I'm moulding in a 15" monitor into the dash of my burb to be utilized for all of the following....DVD Playback(WHEN PARKED)
When in drive, It'll be my REAR VIEW monitor utilizing a camera mounted eithr above the rear window or just above the keyed window switch on the tailgate. When in reverse, it'll display through a second camera mounted down lower on the license plate to make sure I don't run something/someone over
