Back glass dimensions
I have a 48 3 window truck. I was wondering if anyone had their rear glass out that they could measure the length and width for me. I can figure out the curve of the corners.
If you could also provide the thickness which I believe is 1/4". I want to get some rear glass cut. Thanks in advance Marc |

Re: Back glass dimensions
If you have what's left of the old window even if it is cracked or broken any good auto glass shop should be able to make a window.
I have a stock window in one of my spare cabs that I could take out and trace and send you the tracing or I think one of the guys has the patterns and cuts glass. Pm or email your mailing address to me and I'll throw it (the pattern) in the mail Monday on the way to work. I need to take the glass out before I start working on the cab anyhow. Re: Back glass dimensions
It's in the mail. I used a couple of file folders taped together to make the pattern. Just take the whole thing to the glass shop you don't need to cut it out. They will trace it out on the glass and then cut the glass.

Re: Back glass dimensions
Yes, 1/4 inch. I think that is standard for laminated safety glass.
