Anybody running a 250 with th400?
Hows it do? Good on gas? Could you tow a light vehicle on a trailer with it?

I am not running one.... my truck is a 350/th350... but I have read on a few forums that people say a th400 is harder for an engine to turn ... I dont know from experience like I said just sharing what I heard... I am sure somebody else will agree or disagree and we will both find out for sure lol...

In terms of auto trannys, the TH400 takes up the most hp, while the PG takes up the least. I've only seen the 250/TH400 once.

Yeah Ive heard that.. something like 20% loss from a th400 and 16% from a th350 and even less from a glide.

Just my opinion, but my truck has a 350/Turbo 400, and I feel the the 400 is too much tranmission for it. Unless your running a big block or really radical smallblock the 400 will rob way too many horses.
