posi compatability
just wanted to know before i make a purchase, will a 5 lug posi unit out of a 70 rearend work in a 71 rearend provided the gears are the same (3:73)

70's didnt have 5lug rears// if its a truck 12bolt rear yes you can change it into another 12bolt truck rear

In mid year 1970 GM changed over to 5-lug and the wider housing.
