What wrong?????
Hey my truck buddss!! Got a situation that is making me lose it. I have a 82 chevy C-10 4x4. While driving along, it will jump out of gear. Is this the transfer case causing the problem? If so, should I get it rebuild or try and find another? I have even thought about selling the truck but I cant do it. Im CHEVY for life!!!!

I bet its a SM465 4 speed, and I bet its 3rd gear........
Its fixable, but just as easy to get another one from a junk yard and slap it in. They run about a C note around here. A........

What gear does it pop out of?To get back in gear do yopu use the trans shifter or t-case shifter?

I'll have to look around, but I think Novak conversions has a solution to the 465 "pop out of third" issue as part of their rebuild kit.
