A truck being a truck the 60-66 version
A little Ike clean up with the 64 C20. A trip to the scrap yard in the morning.

Re: A truck being a truck the 60-66 version
I use my 65 as a truck every day, it is a little on the rough side for a resto,or rod, but not so rough that I tear it up.
We did a dump run with it a couple weeks ago, and any time we need to hual something it gets used. |

Re: A truck being a truck the 60-66 version
Glad you survived the storm. Seeing a 60-66 truck pulling a trailer does my heart good I used mine for hauling lumber and trash and whatever when it was a longbed. I have pretty well stopped since converting it though. The only thing I've hauled in it since shortening it is the cherry picker I borrowed to lift the old bed off and set the new bed on. Your truck just looks awesome doing what it was meant to do

Nice truck! Always good to see them working. Here is my firewood truck, empty in this shot,
But looks like this just about every weekend in the fall & winter: Well, maybe a few less sticks

Re: A truck being a truck the 60-66 version
Nice! That's as big a load of firewood as I've ever seen on a pick-em-up truck!

Re: A truck being a truck the 60-66 version
LOL, I don't load MY truck quite that high. I've had a full cord of green madrone on it, right about 5000 lbs. Was a little scary coming down the mountain. Couldn't get it below 25mph and didn't think I was gonna make it.
Only did that once, but routinely cut & haul 3/4-1 cord of dry madrone, around 3000 lbs. This truck amazes me how well it handles the load. BTW, I found the pic of the red one on google.

Re: A truck being a truck the 60-66 version
What a great idea for a thread. I don't have any pics yet of my tan 65' hauling my skiff up the boat ramp - but that won't be long.
