Newbie
I've been lurking here for a while and finally bought a couple of trucks, so I thought I'd jump in and say "Hi!".
What photo site is preferred here? I'll post some pics. |

Did you find a moonshine still back in there?

Re: Newbie
Is that some kind of Arkansas hillbilly joke? Just kidding, they really close to a main road. I just missed out on a nearly perfect body five window. There is a fifty something International there that he won't sell. Two nearly complete Studebaker cars went to the crusher. Most of the stainless trim popped off when they pulled them through the brush. That will be going with me to the next swap meet.

Re: Newbie
I will probably have to build them a couple of times to get the results I want.
To start I'll build the SWB chassis. MII front end, S10 rear w/ disc brakes, Later model driveline. You can buy Camaro's here for around $1500. I'm not sure if I want to go FI or carb yet. I'd like to fit 18's on the front and 20's on the rear. For the body, I think I have enough between the two to make one. Rust, dents, and all. It would be an extreme version of thet whole "patina" thing. And when It's driveable, I can start collecting new sheetmetal for the second build and get ready for some slick paint. Then bags, new chrome, ect, ect. |
