Its been a long ride but it's almost done all I have left are the wipers, exhaust clamps, seat belts and sound system.

Re: 95% complete
JCA1972...That is one nice looking truck. Mine is still in many pieces but the painting begins in about 2-3 weeks. Then the assembly begins.

Re: 95% complete
Thanks for the kind words guys. to answer a few questions: the color is GM Torch red.
I wanted to wait until it was all complete to make up my mind on lowering it or not. I have decided to lower the back about 2" and leaving the front alone. The wheels are 17x10 back and 17x8 front. The sound proofing stuff is called Fat mat. I picked it up on E-bay. I haven't driven the truck on the street yet due to no insurance and plates. so I don't know if it will help the road noise but it is pretty thick and it should help. the doors don't rattle at all so I guess it worked.

Re: 95% complete
That is going to look sweet when it's complete. IMO I would have to lower it a little to keep it from looking like a 4wd, but whatever you decide to do, it will be one sweet truck!

Re: 95% complete
Not to derail your thread but..I used a thin foil faced insulation I bought at Home Depot, used headliner adhesive to attach it to the floor board, installed a new OE style rubber floor mat. Made all the difference in the world!
BTW ur truck looks great!

Re: 95% complete
The truck is badazz !!! Lowering it 3" in the front and 5" the back would be off the chain. Get someone to photoshop your truck with a drop like that and you can see what I mean.......Good Luck,,,,2 want do...... jmo

in the pictures it looks like you have directional tires...i may be wrong but it looks like they're rotating the wrong way.
