Quick intro
I have been a lurker here for a couple of years finally getting around to posting. Thought I would share a picture of my old truck. I have had this truck for 18 years and its been threw a couple different stages. Still working on it but always will. It's a big block 402 with a turbo 400

That is one more nice ride you've got there! Love the paint and the big block! It has a nice hot rod rake too! Sweet

Re: Quick intro
The wheels are Weld Racing Rodlites. They are 15x14 out back with 31x18.5 sportmans, and 15x6 up front. It has lowered a-arms and springs up front and coilovers in the back.I did a crossmember swap out of an 86 to get the disc brakes and the rear is a narrowed 9" ford. It really rides and drives good. Just have to watch the front crossmember. Not alot of clearance between the a-arms and the road.

Re: Quick intro
Welcome to the board.....real nice truck.
I have a question for you. Notching the firewall as you did, how did this effect the leg/foot room in the area of the gas pedal? Looks like you converted to a cable throttle?

Re: Quick intro
It did move the peddle back about 2.5 inches. I switched to a spoon style gas pedal with a cabel. I don't notice any problems with it being moved and I like the look of the cable over linkage.
