Factory AM radio converted to AM/FM stereo with outputs
This factory 4-5-6 Chevy truck AM radio has been converted to AM/FM stereo with RCA inputs and multi-channel speakers. I sent to a fellow that does these conversions on classic auto/truck radios. Includes installation/connection/operating instructions. Also includes factory chrome knobs. Once installed this unit looks factory stock, but offers FM stereo and use of your iPod.
$395.00, shipped. |

oh man that is awesome I am sick of our am stations here.. there are only 5 (7 on a good day), and only 2 are music....
now.. how to justify 400$ for the mediocre fm stations we have..... |

The company is: Antique Automobile Radio, Inc. Their e-mail address is: sales@antiqueautomobileradio.com Their website is: www.antiqueautomobileradio.com They are out of Tampa, FL and their phone # is: 800-933-4926 I am not affiliated with them in any way, however I have used them and I am very happy with the work they did converting my factory AM unit to AM/FM stereo with RCA outputs. They also have a nice little news letter I get from time to time. After making this post, I found the name and number of the fellow that did the actual conversion. Here it is: Jim 618-526-8492 |

Your favorite Christmas songs would sound quite festive on this radio.
Please let Santa know you want this thing, so I can make sure it in on his sleigh on Christmas Eve. Happy Holidays! |

Re: Factory AM radio converted to AM/FM stereo with outputs
This unit was going in one of my projects, but I went with a standard, factory AM unit with chrome dash knobs.
I have purchased a few Custom Autosound USA-5 units and they are not worth the money. The bezel isn't close to the factory bezel, the knobs are not the same and the power and clarity are average for a unit in this price range. Please let me know if I can help you with this item or other 4-5-6 Chevy truck parts in the future. |
