Raised Steering box
Anybody got pictures of how you raised your power steering box? I need to raise it a few inches and was hoping for some ideas. My build thread explains what I'm doing.

Re: Raised Steering box
I know there has to be something out there about it but i would just take what you took out by lowering it and put it back where the box is, kind of like a Z only backwars and for the steering box, just a thought if nothing else haha

Re: Raised Steering box
Alright guys, I never saw this before, but here is what I did. I raised it the same amount of my crossmember "drop". I simply Bolted two 3/8" thick 2" x6" (aprox) pieces of steel to the box using countersunk bolts. I then redrilled the holes in those pieces of steel exactly 1.5" lower, and bolted it to the frame using the factory holes in the frame. You are going to have to notch the frame in this area so the pitman arm still clears.
