Whats this called?
On the front end, there is a metal "strip" that goes across in front of the fenders. Its usually behind the bumper and right below the grill. What is this thing called? My 79 has a banged up front end, and that piece along with the fenders need replacin.

Yep, and they're hard to find. Salvage yards are your best bet.

I don't know, I've never seen it before. But that definitely doesn't mean it hasn't been there before.
Edit: That's cool, thanks for pointing that out. It's a fast way to reply. Yehaa.

It's called the front valence panel. I have 2 and one you could buy, but I don't know how it would get there if I shipped it.
