Re: WIW.. factory 68 cruise control

What shape is the turn signal lever in? Since it's not complete, I'd say it's worth more parted, but then, I see a couple of pieces that I need. I'd say $100-175. It's pretty rare, but not many people seem to want factory cruise.

Re: WIW.. factory 68 cruise control

Thanks for the reply.. I will have to go take a look at the lever to see condition.. Which parts do you see that you may need?

Re: WIW.. factory 68 cruise control

Mainly the turn signal lever. I don't have mine in front of me, but if I remember correctly, I need the chain clip on the throttle linkage, the brake pedal switch bracket, and maybe a speedometer cable. I'll have to look to be sure. Let me know if you decide to split it up, or a price for all of it. Thanks

Re: WIW.. factory 68 cruise control

Sorry it took me a bit to respond. finally found a some time to remove it from the truck.
The lever has a couple of minor pitts in the chrome and the chrome is coming off on the end..

I would rather sell the entire assembly, If you would consider $150 for all of it.. its yours.. let me know..

Here are a few more pictures.

Re: WIW.. factory 68 cruise control

I think $150 is too low, there are many on the parts board that have been trying to collect all the parts for a factory cruise and have paid much higher for less.

Re: WIW.. factory 68 cruise control

Was this on your glove box build sheet? It was my understanding that cruse control was not offered till 70 or 71 as a replacement for speed warning.

I could post some pictures of a complete 68 unit if you would like to compare it to yours.
