The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Re: The daily drivers

I'd been driving the truck daily for about 2 years, but since I've got the bike, the truck is not so much of a daily driver now. I still drive her when the weathers not good for riding though.

Re: The daily drivers

I guess I'm disqualified, I don't drive daily. With high speed internet and wireless modem, my "home office" is anywhere I decide to plop down. Walking distance to two grocery stores, Starbuck's, pizza, Blockbuster... I've gone weekend to weekend without driving.

The wife drives daily, a 1999 Volvo V70, we got just a couple months ago. Prior to that our "newest" car was an 88 Volvo wagon. She says the manual clutch in the C10 is uncivilized, and it's too loud anyway. But I consider both points to be plusses.

Re: The daily drivers

rickf..... you are a lucky man. You win the daily contest. I wish I did not have to drive so much. We are programed to drive in the US. Other countries ride bikes and walk. The US is so spread out that is not possible in most states.
