yep it is on upside down thats how i got it. It is not the right air cleaner housing for that motor. so i just say it is for my 283stroker .

Welcome........yeah, the upside down lid is the 'original' performance upgrade.....my 90SS454 ran that wat too.

i like what you're doing. I'm trying to find a 2wd frame around here, and have similar plans for my build, but I'm getting rid of my 350 and going with a 327 L76.

very nice. how low do you wanna go? you can always just get the dropmember and still use the frame you have now and be scrappin on bags. thats what i wanna do but no$$$$$$ for us poor college kids lol.

well tried bein cool this weekend with my one tire fire
then boom broke drivline right in side center support bearing it was weird i thought it was the tranny but then i saw my yoke was sittin a little funny |

I've never did understand why GM used that light duty driveshaft and carrier bearing setup. Seems like most guys have trouble with them. I would consider switching to the heavier setup.
