Just right for the guy with a big family or lots of friends. A guy would have to look it over pretty close to see if it was worth the asked price.

i already have some ideas for that thing, but it might invlolve a set of 24's, have to compensate for the largeness

that 54' has been for sale all over the internet!! each time with a different story. it was on e-bay the last time i heard. bet the current seller is having sellers remorse. i'll stick with my $300 54' suburban.

Very unusual, I didn't know they made long wheelbase suburbans. I own a 1/2 ton 54 suburban that I got for $400; of course it is no where near as clean as that one.

I'd guess it was probably used as some kind of transportation bus similar to how Connecticut Limousine used to have stretch Suburbans in the 80's. Maybe a hotel-airport shuttle type deal.
