Should we scrap an inline 6?

my friend and his brother just went up to nebraska during thanksgiving break... granted we are still in highschool and thats why he had some time off... anyways he brought back a 49 chevy 3/4 ton.. the head was cracked 37 years ago so they parked it and left it...the body and everything is still solid its just all surface rust... but without a head on it all the pistons and stuff is froze up because the block is all rusted.. pistons are rusted solid... should we scrap it or take it somewhere spend some money and resleeve it and bore it out and reuse it..we were wanting to put a crate 350 in and get a stroker kit for it.... im sure somebody on here might want the inline 6 if we dont use it....so thats why i posted it on here
