1966 color
Have a 1966 chevy 1/2 ton coming that is golden bronze in color. Can anyone give the code and gm's name for this color? I do not have the truck yet so do not have data plate.......................joe

There is no way to tell for sure, even if you have the GVW plate with the Paint ID code on it, but the plate may tell you. It could have been painted at some time, but please post the Paint ID code when you get the truck.

My truck was that color originally. I still have some spots with the original paint on them (behind the cab where the bed covered it). I believe you will find paint code to be like the one shown on this link in the top right corner of the sheet. It doesn't always show up on the truck sheets, but the color matches mine perfectly.
