6 lug rotors
Thanx to one of our members i will be receiving 6 lug rotors. now my question is i just bought the entire front end off a 81 now since i will have the 6 lug rotors do i still have to use the tie rods and other stuff off the 81 setup? or will my stock stuff work? i will also be getting 2.5 drop spindels also if that matters any.

Re: 6 lug rotors
Make dead sure that you bought a Heavy Duty brake system unless you are going to get drop spindles, then they will be HD. All the other parts are the same, HD or not. The new-to-you rotors are HD (99.9% sure). The rotors will be 1.5" thick.
Use the '81 tie rods, drag link, a-arms, backing plates, calipers, and spindles. Get the proportioning valve. Do you have power brakes? Are you going to install power brakes? A disc/drum master cylinder will be needed. If you are also adding power brakes, consider buying the MC/Booster as a combo to eliminate mating surprises. I did this swap during the summer. Best modification yet.
