Sub in 62-63

Has anyone installed a sub using a bench seat and with out moving the gas tank?

My buddy in AZ had a box built that was located under the bench seach, it occupied just about all of the space under the seat...I'm not sure what size the speakers were, but that's how he did his. I think anything of significant size would be a problem just due to space restrictions. Good luck and post some photos.

check in crutchfield. they make a low profile sub with enclosure for that type of application. or I once had a set of bass cannons under the seat which had good sound.

I did this by making a spacer out of square tubing which raised the seat a little but i was able to install two 12" subs under the seat without removing the tank.
