temp sending unit - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

anybody know where to find a temp sensor (sending unit) that will work with the stock temp gauge and fit in the vortec heads (which have a smaller hole)? the original is way to large in dia (i dont know the npt size), i have been running it in the intake and it went bad. i would rather replace it in the head and get a more accurate reading.

Yeah, I just posted essentially the same question yesterday..
