He// yes. the parts alone are worth more than that. Besides if you can't get a title you could put another cab or vin plate on it.

Check with DMV or someone who might know if you can get a duplicate pink. You can do it here in california. As long as one of the people are one of the registered owners. If not see what you have to do to get one. Call DMV..

i dont think that you can do this in n.c. from what i've seen.the owner past away and its the wifes now but i can probably get a notorized bill of sale and apply for a lost title

Yeah Jump on that. It's a good price. The title isn't a big deal, just takes some paperwork and waiting .

Re: is this a good deal

Kory, Welcome to the board. I hope that deal works out for you. I don't think the lost title will be a problem being you are buying it form the registered owner. You will just have to do a little bit of paper work. Really glad to see a younger person taking interest in this hobby. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. There is a lot of knowledgeable people here. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Re: is this a good deal

welcome kory, look close at the "eyebrow" above the windsheld if you have a rust out problem in that area it will be dificult to repair properly, LOOK CLOSE because once you get it home it will be too late, check for rust out in the floors, hood (in front) by the turn indicators, cab corners, behind the cab, pull up the flooring and look under the vents on both sides of the cab, these places will be some of your more dificult fixes, sometimes you have to have two of these trucks to make your dreams workout...good luck
