just found the orgininal tittle to my 66 short fleet... it says $6400.00 on it. I have never seen one like it its on a 5x7 card and it came with a duplicate tittle also. in the envolove was the registration fromm 66 till 74. he saved all of them... also in the envolope was a tittle release form.(i bought the truck without a tittle he said it was lost)

Re: original Tittle
Nice! By the way "title" only has one "t" in the middle of the word "title"

Re: original Tittle
Congrats on the find. These trucks sold new for $1,600.00-$3,300.00 when they were new, depending on the model and equipment, with the base model pickups being the cheapest and the well-equipped Carryalls/Suburbans the most expensive.

Re: original Tittle
Lol opps (is that one or two p's) fat finger does it again.
So why would mine say 6400 from the dealer. It is a short wide 283 auto a/c power brakes steering delux dash and steering wheel. Last edited by 70 Suburban; 12-23-2008 at 05:30 PM. |

Re: original Tittle
Not sure, but that would be over three times the dealer sticker price of $2,066.00 listed for a new '66 Chevy C10 swb fleetside truck in 1966.
