1978 2wd Frame -1985 4wd Frame
Will a 1985 Chevy Blazer Body fit on a 1978 Frame?

They should. Only think different, may be the transmission humps being different heights. The front frame rails between the two are different, but the 78 front frame can be easily modified to accept a 85 style bumper.

You'll have a problem with the body mount behind the doors. 73-80 they bolt to the crossmember, 81-91 they bolt outside the frame...
