Re: high on life
Boy do I want one of those...Congrats 70, i'm high on the sound. I've got a bbc and I was wondering is this just a bolt on and drive deal? or are there mods and upgrades to be done to the engine before you can add a blower??

Re: high on life
thanks guys.
i motor is a stock bottom end. freshend up about 10,000 miles ago. The blower was bolt on itself. I did put a blower cam in that i didnt take pics while doing. the blower wasnt any hard than a intake swap in my opinion, except i didt have to chase a throttle spring down, cut and reweld my throttle rod, chase longer bolts for a longer fan spacer. Other than that simple. it was a to night process, took me about 5 hours, thats with about a 1 hour of settin timing, carb, and messing around with her. the first trip is awaiting, we got it running about 9 oclock last night, i dont have my tailigts hooked up, i just got my bed painted and installed. today im gonna bolt it down. I just got down putting new floors in the cab, so i need to lay my carpet today and install the seat. And hang my diver side door, once i find were i can get new bushings for it. then ill get to drive her. thanks for the complitments guys. |
