sun visor bracket screws
Near as I can tell, the machine screws that should be used to mount the sun visors to the inside of the windshied frame are 5/16 18 X 3/4" long. That size taper head screw wont seat all the way in the countersunk hole in the bracket. A 1/4 20 will seat in the bracket, but it of course is the wrong size to seat in the winshield frame nut.
Wha am I missing here? |

1/4-28? Didn't put a tap on it, but could check...anti-sieze and studs worked for my hardtop mount

Re: sun visor bracket screws
A member on here a few years ago turned replacment screws out of stainless steel. I can't find the post and I don't remember the username, just that the member had their own website and was repairing some serious bedside accident damage on a nice red Blazer.

Re: sun visor bracket screws
Good news: I found the board member who made these and the post where they were for sale: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ad.php?t=83233
Bad news: this member hasn't been active in over a year and their website doesn't work anymore
