Any tricks removing rusty cab mounting bolts?
Any tricks to get the rear cab to frame bolts removed? This is the 73-87 body style. I want to replace the rubber mounts to level out the cab...this is a New York truck.
By the way, does anyone make the rear panel across the back of the cab..the panel at the very bottom (where it drips) is rusted through ( on the very lowest edge straight across). Must have been because it had a big box on the chassis that caught all of the road salt etc. The rockers and cab corners are solid for some reason... |

I dont have many problems with my impacts air tools etc to use just wd40 those bolts for a day or two and just let them sit.... get your 1/2 breakover and a cheater pipe, and it wont give you much trouble. And i cant help much past that.. easier trick, i need to learn it myself.
Can't help you with the info on a patch panel you need. |

Cutoff tool
1/4" Air Cutoff Tool works great! Just make sure your wearing safety glasses. Zips right through them. Or split/cut the nut and a hammer and chisel will spread it enough to knock it off.
