Undercoating question
Has anyone here done an undercoating on the underside of their truck? What did you use and what did it cost you to get it done?
Id also like to know how much I can expect to pay for powdercoating the frame and such.... Anyone have an idea? |

Re: Undercoating question
i have my bed off to do the typical rust fix on the cab... i used this stuff in a shaker can and it was pretty good.. i think i used 5 or 6 cans to shoot everything.. frame. coils. rear end. shocks. then i used vht paint to do my exhaust flat black... to do all that for half a frame cost me about 75-100 bucks.. no idea what the brand of undercoating was since its at the shop im doing my truck but i am happy with it..heres a pic too
before i used the stuff i used a rust convertor/primer.. you clean the frame or whatever then when your down to the surface rust you spray it on and it goes on clear then the reaction to the surface rust turns it to black primer... heres the pics last pic is of the rust convertor i told you about....hope i helped a little
