tail lights and dash lights

are the tail lights and the dash lights on the same fuse i lost both on my truck at the same time i still have brake lights and signal lights as well as the light for the 4 wheel drive indicator
also on my fuse block which fuse woul it be i looked but was un able to find it marked on mine so not sure which one it is to check it didn't want to start pulling every one right now
thanks for any response and hoping that is all it is

Tommy,

You can pick up a automotive circuit test light at any auto parts store, They have cheepo's for around 12 bux.

Just ground the test light lead then turn on your lights and ignition switch, Touch each end of the fuse with the tip of the tester, If the fuse is good the tester will light up on both ends. If it's blown it will only light up on one end.

If you have the plastic blade fuses there are little holes on the end above each blade that the pointed test light can be inserted into for testing.

Using a test light only takes a minute to test all the fuses.
