Welcome to the family (72 blazer) NOW PLENTY OF PICS

Unbelievalbe what will the neighbors think, they wont know what to do when they see me drive home a new truck instead of pushing one off the trailor. Especially since this one is running well, with title, and it is still fully assembled: Is this some sort of bizarro world or just a dream.

Any way i couldnt help my self, just bought a 72 blazer out of the local paper, made a deal for 1,400 ac (not working) original buckets, all original sheet metal excellent bed and windshield frame, still has original rocker boxes in excellent condition, awsome tailgate. All signal lights, wipers, horn etc work, strong 350 long block 40 over with about 30k miles on it, 4 spd manuel, and a great set of 35in tires. The rockers are a little rough but better than most i have seen and the very front of the rear quarters need the patches, oh yeah no top, good thing i have several, over all i would say a great start.
What do yall think, did i get a good deal tell it to me straight i can handle it, i know no pictures yet they will be up tomorrow when the rain stops.

Re: Welcome to the family (72 cst blazer)

Sounds like a good deal, but if the rocker boxes are original and you are getting rust else where, then they probably not as nice as you think...
