Over the counter bed liner

I tried the Plasti Kote spray on bed liner on the underside of my cab. I must say I was very impressed with it. It sprays on nice, doesnt run, and seem very durable. I tried it on a scrap piece of metal and after drying overnight it was hard to scrape off with a screwdriver. It took 4 cans for 3 coats to complete. Plan on staying out of your garage for a day after you spray it. The solvents are pretty nasty in it.

That looks good. I assume you can't use it over bare metal? How about price? Are you coming over to do mine?

The floor had primer on it. I would assume not over bare metal. $8 a can at the local fleet store. Sorry I cant help with yours I'll probably never get my own done.

Re: Over the counter bed liner

I used that stuff on my '91. Only I put it in the bed. It works great. I hauled an oily engine in the bed about a year before I sprayed it in, and wherever there had been oil, it didn't stick very well. I wiped the whole thing down with thinner before I did it too. I would recommend sanding before you spray if there was ever any oil on it. Your cab looks great, I will definitly be doing this when I get into my project!
