hey guys im working on re wiring my 60 gmc and i was curious if there were any wiring diagrams online that anyone was aware of that would work on my truck. thanks guys.

which diagrams you need? The whole truck, or does this help?
I've never seen one online. You have to buy them. If you're going to buy one, buy the whole shop manual instead, it's worth the investment. It has wiring diagrams in it. I would imagine the 60 is the first new manual so you wouldn't have to buy the later year supplements like you do for the 65 & 66

yea, there's probably about 10 pages of wiring diagrams in the manual.

do you happen to have a diagram for the headlight switch , i can't seem to locat for a 1960 c10 truck all switches seem to be different from thi year. need help, thanks

The problem I have is from the firewall forward. They had put a 64 hood on the truck. They cut and spliced the wires til there was nothing left. With the 60 hood I got, I need the wiring from the firewall to the hood connector. I could figure it out, but it would be much easier with a color code diagram.

64 is the same as 60, the change was in 66 I think when the front park lights stayed on with the headlights. hilander or jollie have on their sights how to change yours up if you want . it involves changing a wire on your switch

I guess I wasn't clear about my problem. Someone in the past tried to splice the wires from the firewall to the 64 hood. I think they gave up, because there are no wires at all coming from the firewall. I can see where they are cut at the firewall connector. There is not enough wire left to even tell the color. My new (to me ) 60 hood has the wiring to the connector (midway to firewall). I'm missing the small piece that connects the firewall to the hood connector. Sorry about my vague descriptions.
