Can anyone tell me if a 2 wheel drive one is the same as a 4 wheel drive. thanks

Not even close. The 4x4 is quite a bit different than the 2 wheel. On the 4x4 the t-case adapter is mounted to that xmember. The 2 wheel, the rear of the trans acutally bolts to the xmember, and sets much higher in the frame than the 4x4.
