Re: S10 swap front bumper mount????????
I just mounted my Caddy bumpers and made a very stong bumper bracket for it. After I made it I checked it against mt stock 53 GMC bumper and it looked as if it would work for it too. I didn't take pictures tho (I know I suck). Here's a little drawing that might help you out. I used card board to trace out the S10 horns, then cut it out of 1/2 in plate that I had. I used angle iron to connect the two together anlong with a 1x1 solid square tube in the middle.
#1. showes the 1/2" plate design. Just use your frame end to make a temp out of cardboard. #2. shows the 1X1 square tube that is welded in the center of the angle irons. #3.Show the angle irons that connect the two plates together. #4.Show the holes I drilled in the plate. I'm use'n the power steering pump bolts since they go through the frame. Plate is mounted on the outboard side(power steering is on the inboard side of the frame). #5.are the 2x2 square pipe used to mount the Caddy bumper. I used 2 on each side. however, for the stock bumper you would only need to use one per side. On the pass side of the frame, there was only one bolt that I could use. I didn't want to drill through the frame. So the red dotts are holes I drilled in the plate. Once my bumper was mounted to the bracket and set in place, I removed the tire and welded the drilled holes to the frame of the S10. Hope it helps. Sorry I didn't take any pics.

Re: S10 swap front bumper mount????????
I wish that it would have helped, but it looks like the bumpers are different from GMC to Chevy. But I'm sure that the GMC pics and info will help someone some day. And still for Chevy's, is there anyone out there with pic's and info on how they mounted their front bumper?
