O.K i bought a used bedside today for my longbed 72 and a used passenger door 50$$ couldent pass it up and they are nicer than mine ........So on the door there is some trim a thin piece just above the door lock that runs the length of the door and a fat wide one that runs on the bottom bodyline of the door ....How can i get them off with out killing them ,I only saw one screw ??Do i need a tool or what..... Who made carrage bolts those are a pain in the a$$ to get off so im gonna use regular bolts ,they should work right or do i need carrage bolts? And one last ?? what should i coat the inside of the bed side with ?????

Well, for the trim on the bottom, if it still has the original clips, you can just take the nut off on the back, and it will come right off. There is one that is pushed in, but ones you get all of the other ones out it will come out pretty easy. The trim on the top it a little bit harder, but you can do it with out a trim tool. Someone else could probably explain it better, but one way to do it is to take a little screwdriver and un hook the clips.
