Ok, another odd question. A guy local sent me this picture of a bumper he has for sale. He said its a sport bumper but I'm not sure. Somebody who knows, can you tell me please? I want to be sure it will fit my 86 SWB.

looks like a 73-80 bumper, possibly a front one...

my guess was a front too. Will those fit the rear of mine? My guess is that a front bumper may fit with some help but look goofy.

Comparing it to my front, i dont see the outer brace holes....so might be a van? bumper.

i cant tell for sure but it looks to be the same as the one on my donar chassis wich is a '76

I agree that it is not the correct bumper for the rear of your '86.

Look at the spacing of the bolts from the L'plate mount compared to the spacing on crawdadfox's front bumper. It might be a van bumber for the front or even rear from the mid/late '70's...

yea i rekon its more likely to be offf a van, the centre bolt holes ar futher apart than on a truck..

The guy tells me it came off an 84 K5 Blazer. Does this seem right to anybody? And will the blazer be the same as our trucks?

Van bumpers are easy to identify; the two frame bolts are staggered on a van, one above the other on a truck. This is a truck Bumper. Looks like my blazer bumper

Does it look like your rear bumper or front? I like the look of the bumper but not for the front.

I saw that too, and there are 3 bolt holes instead of 4 like on the rears.

looks like my front bumpe. 73-79 style

On second look it sure as chit aint a back bumper unless it is a rear van bumper . the outside holes have me guessing.

yeah, they look the same, but look at how far the middle bolts are away from the licence plate area, they look alot futher away than ton the truck bar making me think its off a van.
