Can some please help a dumbsh%$
Okay so I got my battery recharged cause truck had been sitting for in the garage for a while, me like an idiot didn’t pay attention to what I was connecting back up. I basically hooked up the positive to negative etc etc (It was dark) So what happens I see some sparks coming from my connection and no big deal then all of a sudden something pops like a big azz fuse then smoke starts pouring out. I couldn’t really see exactly where It was coming from but looked like in the back by the sparkplug cap. I try to crank the truck of course and no power what so ever, there is no juice coming to the ignition, the lights come one but that’s about it.
Can some one please tell me what I blew and how to fix it? Thanks |

Sounds like the fuseable link on the fire wall, check the cable that runs across the firewall, there is a block screwed to the firewall that holds the fuseable link you will soon see if it has blown.

No it's on the firewall closer to the passenger side. He is not talking about the fuse box.
