Needs Complete Exhaust System
Hey Guys,
I just purchased a 69 short bed with a 307 (or 350) with auto trans and it needs a complete exhaust system from the current rusty headers on back. I like flowmaster type and sound but I do not find any complete kits like they did for my 67 Camaro. Any suggestions on just the headers will help, but I need the works. I hear certain brands are bad when it comes to plug access. I see LMC has a complete exhaust kit for standard exhaust manifolds, but not if you are running headers. Any idea's will be appreciated and considered Thanks, Steve |

Re: Needs Complete Exhaust System
Pypes offers a 2.5" system, with an X-pipe for $275 without the mufflers. Its a stainless steel mandrel bent system, part number is SGT79, and is for use with headers. I'm ordering one for my '69 C10 shortstep (454/TH400). The Pypes website (www.pypesexhaust.com) was a lot of help, as was their techline.
