Rear sway/stabilizer bar

Hey all,

I was wondering what size or manufacter(oem, helwig)poeple were running for rear anti-sway bars,if at all?
After getting the front sway bar onthis week and making a drastic improvement in going around corners(i like not scraping my mirrors and door handles off when going around corners!)It made me think about getting one for the rear as well.I was told, at one point that getting to big of rear bar would be detremental (sp)to cornering ability.

Any insite would be helpful

Thanks!!

Cool

I have a Helwig rear anti-sway bar too, but I haven't installed it yet and a 1 1/4" from a C 30 which is yet to be installed to replace the factory 1 1/8 one. Just too lazy and cold.

How much would a rear sway bar help on a truck that has a 4/6 drop? Its my '89 gmc two wheel drive extended cab pickup.. think it would be worth trying?

I have a 4/5 drop on my truck. The rear bar helps, not as much or noticable as the front of course, but it does help. I can tell a big difference when taking the big curves. After installing it long ago, I started thinking if it really helped. I took it back off just to see if I could tell any difference. You definetely can. I put it back on and never looked back.
