Re: finaly took down to frame in front
You can use the Front suspension/disc brakes setup (will need new ball joints I think) engine/trans......driveshaft if they are both shortbeds...power brake booster with a little modification, power steering box, I think...

Re: finaly took down to frame in front
Keep the engine stands (missing in pics) that bolt to the frame, and moter mounts, those are all you need to put your 350 in,
To use the Auto trans you are going to have to cut out the Manual trans cross member that your bell housing bolted to. And use the one from the 85 that mounts in the back, you will probably need to drill holes in the frame to bolt it to. Everyting can stay up front as far as suspension, but you will need new 73 and up ball joints, and possibly tie rod ends..then use your 85 spindles and brake components, to use your booster you will need to lengthen the rod from your brake pedal to the booster (using a threaded coupler and extra threaded rod from hardware store) your power steering box will work, but you will need an adapter kit, 67's did not have the dimple where the box bolts to the frame tht allows it to lay flush. |

Re: finaly took down to frame in front
Finaly got the three on the tree cross member removed after my cusin came over to lift the cab while I grinded of factory rivets and I just used a 5 foot pry bar to brake it free from frame man these are some tough frames yeah! Also got her back on tires of jack stands yeah. But that led to problemo not enough shims on upper A arm on driver side and sits little funny? Think I will tow it to alignment shop instead of driving? to tired to go take new pics so here have few old ones you aint seen. lol
