power outlet box
I have just looked at a '67 C-10 Custom with the power outlet box on the fender. Two outlets and a toggle switch. Is this a rare option on these trucks? I did a search on here but no info on their rarity. Anyone know their history as well? What years available and on what trucks, etc. Thanks folks.

Does it have a GM logo on it or a nameplate from a GM parts manufacturer? If not I would say it was just a power inverter that sombody installed in the last 35 years.

power outlet box
Didn't notice. Truck in a shed and has been sitting several years. Thinking about going back and trying to get it cranked. Saw a post by cabin69 on another thread that described what I saw and thought it must be a factory option. Glove box sticker almost gone and was no help. I don't know enough about these trucks(yet) to know what is rare and what isn't other than SWB with Big Block and no rust!

Chevy did offer a power outlet box, except it was a 6-plug box.
If anyone has one of these original, I'd love to see some pics!

pics would be great!
Was it mounted on the drivers side inner fender? This one was and only had two 3-prong outlets and toggle switch. I think I have seen a pic of one on a website somewhere, maybe even this one,but I can not find it.
