Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

Stockton Wheel carries an 8-lug wheel, the 20 series, but I didn't see any rally-style 8-lug wheels on their website. I know, because I've checked before.

http://www.stocktonwheel.com/heavy_duty_wheels.htm

You will probably need to call them directly.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

There's a board member with some 8 lug rally looking wheels. I believe he got them off a Dodge if I remember correctly. Maybe he'll see this thread.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

Mayo has Dodge wheels on his white 68 longhorn. But i wouldn't call them rallys, they were just base model wheels. Plus, in all reality, they don't fit properly.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

I seemed to have seen late model 8-lug with the trim rings in Argent Silver on the vans. They are shallow (narrow) but look somewhat like ralleys...if you squint really hard from across the street...LOL!

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

These are the ones I was thinking about but as you can see...they have a big back-spacing and 4 normal openings between the center and rim. Like I said...squint hard from across the street!

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

Here are my rims. They kind of look like an 8 lug rally wheel to me, and as the others have stated, they came off of a mid 90s Dodge van or truck.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

In a word, no. Nobody makes 8 lug truck ralleys. Trust me I looked high and low! it is what I really wanted for the burb, but I didn't want to give up the 8 lugs. I even called several wheel manufacturers to see if they could be built. The answer was consistantly no, they would not build a set. I have tried different ideas as to how to build a set, but haven't figured it out yet. I know there must be a way. The only way I can ee them really working well s a ralley and being able to "see" the holes is to make it in like a 17" wheel. The ring around the lugs gets pushed further out because the 8 lug pattern gets pushes it further out due to space. If you figure it out let me know.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

While I was at work, I noticed a newer Ford, (there goes that F word), F250 with what looked like steel rally wheels. No caps or beauty rings, but they looked cool. I am not sure if they will fit GM or Mopar bolt patterns, as Fomoco changed to a metric bolt spacing a few years back. But were there's a will, there's a way.

Unhappy Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

I guess if you can find the dodge wheels and find a wheel shop that will make them 8X16's they would look great! but on the other hand it will cost abit too!

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

Im bringing this thread back from the dead. What size are the Dodge rims on Mayo's truck. Diameter, width, backspacing, hub opening diameter? It looks like Mayo is running a full floater rear end (dana 60, eaton, 14 bolt)? I am wondering if these would fit on 4x4's ( dana 44 and 14 bolt )? Im looking for something basic but different and do not want 16.5's.

All I know about them is they are 16s.I don't have any of that other info, the rims were on the truck when I got it. It does have a Dana 60 though.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

They are stock size standard SAE 8-lug pattern.Dodge put them on 4wds.They should work.I`d say they`d be 6.5-7" wide. The same as stock GMs.They may have a big backspace like the late GM wheels.

Re: 8 lug rally wheels?

do these stick in about the same as the hd 2500 rims? Could wheel spacers be used?

I am looking for a wheel and tire and do not want something that sticks out too far like alot of the 12.5's and dont want 16.5's as said before. I also like not running alum for offroad duribility.

Livrat has 285/80/16's on 16x8 and they look good.(if I remember correctly)
